In this article, we are going to give you recipes for typical English foods so that when you return from your holiday, you can unleash your culinary talent and continue to savour the best taste from the British Islands.
What is the cuisine that most represents England?
Its not easy to define gastronomy, but if we had to explain its style, we would say that it’s a traditional British cuisine in which flavours and textures from China, India or North America are mixed. The influence of the colonies on English cuisine has been fundamental throughout its history.
In many of the typical English recipes, the importance of natural products is observed, an aspect that was introduced in the Middle Ages. Among the most popular foods are old dishes such as roast beef, empanadas, fried fish and sweets.
Most common ingredients and food in English cuisine

Without doubt, this is the most famous dish. If you walk through any English city, you will surely come across the classic fast-food places serving this food. Simple, rich, nutritious and cheap if you want to travel to England on a low-cost plan.
It consists of battered fish (mainly hake or cod) with fried potatoes seasoned with salt and vinegar.
2.Yorkshire Pudding
It is a baked dough made from flour, eggs and milk. It is quite a wildcard recipe. It resembles bread, but with the soft silky texture of a sweet bun. It is usually accompanied by the famous roast beef but you can use it to replace bread at any meal.
3.English Breakfast

5.Cornish Pasties
Marking one of the most delicious empanadas but in an English style. The dough is filled with meat, potatoes and vegetables. It’s a dish that comes from the county of Cornwall.
6.Apple Crumble
Open your mouth to one of the traditional English confectionaries. It’s a sweet apple pie baked with flour, butter and sugar. It’s usually served accompanied by cream or custard.
7.Custard
